Please Share A Prayer!

Please Share A Prayer!

"For this reason I bow my knees before the Father, from whom every family in heaven and on earth is named, that according to the riches of his glory he may grant you to be strengthened with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith—that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may have strength to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God. Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen." Ephesians 3:14-21

As we read Ephesians 3:14-21, that is listed above, we are excited that these are some of the scripture verses that Gifted2Go is based on.  Let's "bow our knees before the Father" and share the GIFT of PRAYER with Jaye Martin and her team as Jaye Martin Ministries, HeartCall, & Gifted2Go are launched in the month of April and throughout 2013!!

Called to Lead

“According to the grace given to us, we have different gifts: If prophecy, use it according to the standard of faith; if service, in service; if teaching, in teaching; if exhorting, in exhortation; giving, with generosity; leading, with diligence; showing mercy, with cheerfulness” (Ro.12:6-8).

The gift of leadership is given by God for the purpose of leading in the local church to direct the members of the body of Christ in fulfilling the purpose of the church. It is the ability to hear God’s vision, based on the truths of His Word, and lead people to work together to accomplish God’s plan.

“And God has placed these in the church: first apostles, second prophets, third teachers, next, miracles, then gifts of healing, helping, managing, various kinds of languages” (1 Cor 12:28) .

The gift of administration is given by God for the purpose of managing the entities of the church in accomplishing the plan of God. It is the ability to organize and implement the plans given to God by the leader.

Each of has, by the very fact that we are believers, the calling and the capacity to lead. Some are gifted in leadership and so that gift is obvious to all. Consider the fact that we are all called to serve, yet some have the gift of service. Many of us are called to teach, but some of us are especially gifted in teaching. We are all called to be encouragers, yet some are have the gift of exhortation.

Whether we are gifted in the gift of leadership or not, we are all called to lead. The question is, how will we lead?

Ways To Support Our Troops For The Summer

"You then, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus. And the things you have heard me say in the presence of many witnesses entrust to reliable men who will also be qualified to teach others. Endure hardship like a good soldier of Christ Jesus. No one serving as a soldier gets involved in civilian affairs - he wants to please his commanding officer." 2 Timothy 2:1-4 (NIV)
Summer is here and we are all making summer plans that may include some new adventures and some needed vacation time. As we all make our plans, would you be able to join us in supporting our troops that are serving at home and away?
Here are some possible ways that we can all be used by the Lord to support our troops for the summer:
  • Pray
  • Encourage
  • Affirm
  • Care
  • Evangelize

As our troops serve to keep our Freedom we can be used by God as "PEACE-makers" as they serve! We can Pray for them and their families, Encourage them with supportive notes, words and actions of Affirmation, take time to Care, and ask the Lord for souls to be saved through the witness of Military Chaplains and Christian troops that God has place in strategic places across our world!

If you would like someone specific in the military to support for the summer, or even longer, please e-mail me and I would be glad to share the address of one that we know personally!

Where are the Leaders?

God exalted him at his right hand as Leader and Savior, to give repentance to Israel and forgiveness of sins (Acts 5:31, ESV).

“God [is] the author of leadership - who He is and what He does.”

“Will the real leader please stand up? Where have all the leaders gone? It time to talk honestly about a real problem in this fallen world that we live in. It’s time to talk about Godly leadership. It’s our greatest problem.

Maybe you expected me to say that our greatest problem is that families are falling apart – and they are. Maybe you expected me to say that pornography and drugs are at the forefront – and they are. Maybe you thought I would tell you that the people of the world need to be saved – and of course that is too true. We could go on and on with the list of all the things wrong with the world – all the sins, if you will – but the greatest problem that I see is a lack of Godly leadership. It is the lack of men and women of God who will step up to the plate and be the Godly faithful, fair, and humble leaders that God calls them to be. It is the lack of men and women who will stand up for what is right and pure and holy and unashamedly fight for God, His plan, and His principles on how to live. The problem is men and women who look the other way when they see wrong…even when they can do something about it.

When are we going to figure out that God sent Jesus to show us how to lead and expected us to follow His lead? God sent Jesus to model how to live in such a way that people would see God in Him and that God would be glorified. That’s what leadership is all about. It is about sharing the greater vision of Jesus Christ, how to know Him personally, and how to lead others to do the same.”

“Godly leadership is not waiting for someone to ask you to lead; Godly leadership is following Christ so closely that you know how to lead and you do it in such a way that you model Christ by your every word and action while influencing others to do the same.” Jaye Martin

Let’s commit our influence to the Lord again today. He needs us to pray to Him and to follow His lead!
